Games Like Bereave

Bereave is a captivating 2D action adventure platformer that really sticks with you. You play as a young boy navigating a surreal and often unsettling world after a devastating loss. The gameplay focuses on exploration and puzzle solving as you uncover fragments of memory and story. It’s not a game that holds your hand, so expect to figure things out through careful observation and experimentation. The atmosphere is incredibly strong a blend of melancholy and wonder. While challenging at times it's a deeply personal experience focused on emotional resonance rather than twitch reflexes. It’s a game that lingers in your thoughts long after you finish playing, prompting reflection on themes of grief and acceptance. If you enjoy games that prioritize narrative and a unique artistic vision over pure action, Bereave is definitely worth checking out.
