Games Like Before I Forget

Before I Forget is a quiet, thoughtful adventure that unfolds like a personal memory. You play as a person who wakes up with no recollection of who they are or how they got to a strange, dreamlike world filled with floating islands and ancient ruins. Your job is simple but meaningful—explore each area, find scattered fragments of forgotten moments, and piece together who you were and what you left behind. The game moves at its own gentle pace, with no combat and no pressure. You walk through foggy forests, climb crumbling towers, and talk to people who seem to know you but can't quite remember either. It feels like sitting down with an old journal you never wrote and trying to remember your own life. The art is soft and painterly, the music is hushed and emotional, and every discovery brings a little more warmth to the silence. It’s not about winning or losing. It’s about feeling. And that’s what makes it unforgettable.
