Games Like Before Exam

Before Exam is a really interesting game because it blends different styles together. You take on the role of a student navigating the pressures of exams but it’s not just about studying. There are elements of a visual novel so you’ll be reading lots of text and making choices that affect the story. You also get to explore different locations and interact with characters which adds a layer of mystery. It’s a game that feels thoughtful and a little bit surreal. It’s not a fast paced action game but more of a slow burn experience focused on atmosphere and the internal struggles of the protagonist. It’s the kind of game you can really get lost in thinking about the narrative and the world it creates. If you enjoy games that prioritize story and character over intense gameplay, you might find Before Exam quite captivating.
