Games Like Beat Cyber

Beat Cyber is a really cool action game that throws you into a neon soaked cyberpunk world. You're a cybernetically enhanced fighter battling waves of enemies set to a constantly shifting electronic soundtrack. What makes it stand out is the way the music directly impacts the gameplay. The beat of the music dictates your attacks and movements creating a really intuitive and rhythmic combat system. It’s a game that feels fantastic to play with good headphones because the audio and action are so tightly woven together. Because it was created as a game jam project it has a unique indie feel and a surprising amount of depth for its origins. It's not about complex stories or intricate level design it’s about pure action and feeling the music through every punch and dodge. If you enjoy games where rhythm and reflexes meet it’s definitely worth checking out.
