Games Like Beat Cancer

Beat Cancer is a really unique fighting game that flips the script on the genre. Instead of battling other characters you fight hordes of cancer cells. It’s a 2D beat ‘em up with a surprisingly funny and heartwarming story. You play as a little stick figure who has to fight off these colorful and often bizarre cancer-themed enemies. The gameplay is simple to pick up but offers a decent amount of depth as you unlock new abilities and powerups. It's a game that manages to be both engaging and surprisingly uplifting given its subject matter. It's not a super serious game and leans into its quirky premise making for a memorable and somewhat unusual gaming experience.
