Games Like BattleBlade (itch)

BattleBlade on itch is a really neat little platformer that feels like a love letter to old Game Boy games. You play as a knight who’s got to fight through levels using a sword that can be thrown. It’s super simple to pick up and play but there’s a surprising amount of depth to the combat. You’re constantly dodging and weaving, trying to land the perfect blow. The levels are short and sweet perfect for a quick burst of gaming fun. It has that classic retro feel with its pixel art and chiptune music which really adds to the charm. It’s not a long game but it’s the kind of experience you can easily loop back to for another round. If you’re looking for something nostalgic and pick up and play this is a great choice.
