Battalia is a really interesting little game that popped up from Ludum Dare 44. It's a medieval action strategy game where you control a small group of units battling against others. The gameplay is turn based which gives you time to think about your moves and plan your attacks. You'll be managing your units' actions positioning them carefully to gain an advantage. It feels like a simplified take on classic tactical games focusing on direct combat and strategic positioning. The art style is simple and functional which keeps the focus on the tactical elements. It's not a massive game but it offers a surprisingly engaging experience for a quick play session.
