You find yourself in an endless hallway at a school relentlessly pursued by a sinister teacher named Baldi. The core gameplay involves collecting misplaced notebooks scattered throughout the school while avoiding Baldi's increasingly frantic attempts to catch you. It's a simple premise but the tension builds steadily as Baldi's pursuit intensifies and the school itself seems to shift and change around you. The game masterfully uses sound and visual cues to create a feeling of unease and vulnerability. It’s not about complex puzzles or intense combat it’s about the constant pressure of being chased and the unsettling atmosphere of a seemingly abandoned school.
