Games Like Bacteroids (Squeydar)

Bacteroids Squeydar is a really interesting shooter that feels like a throwback to older games but with its own unique twist. You control a virus navigating a world full of other microbes battling for dominance. The gameplay involves shooting and evolving your virus, collecting new abilities and adapting to different environments. It’s not about twitch reflexes it’s more about strategic decision making as you choose how to grow and overcome obstacles. The art style is a bit retro which adds to the charm and the whole experience has a quirky sense of humor. It’s a game that’s easy to pick up but offers surprising depth as you experiment with different virus forms and try to survive. If you enjoy games that aren't afraid to be a little different and appreciate a blend of action and strategy, Bacteroids Squeydar might be right up your alley.
