Games Like Bacteria!

Bacteria! is a really neat little game that flips the script on what you might expect from a shooter. You play as a bacterium trying to survive and thrive in a petri dish. It’s surprisingly engaging because you’re not just blasting away. You’re evolving your bacteria, unlocking new abilities and forms. The gameplay blends shooting action with RPG elements as you collect resources and upgrade your little microbe. It's a 2D side scrolling experience that’s easy to pick up but offers a decent amount of depth. The educational aspect is subtle but present, making it a fun way to think about biology. It’s a unique and charming experience that offers a fresh take on the genre. If you're looking for something different and don't mind a bit of quirky humor, Bacteria! is definitely worth checking out.
