Games Like Backstage Pass

Backstage Pass is a really interesting indie game that blends simulation with RPG elements creating a unique experience. You step into the shoes of a female protagonist working behind the scenes in the anime industry. The game lets you manage various aspects of production from character design and story development to voice acting and even dealing with the pressures of fame and personal relationships. It’s not just about the work though. There’s a surprising amount of character interaction and a narrative that delves into some pretty mature themes including nudity and complex relationships. If you enjoy games where you get to build and manage things while also experiencing a character-driven story with a distinctive anime aesthetic and aren't easily bothered by some potentially suggestive content, then Backstage Pass might be right up your alley. It offers a glimpse into a world most of us don't get to see and lets you shape the narrative in interesting ways.
