Games Like Backrooms: Social Experiment

Backrooms: Social Experiment is a really unique adventure game that puts you in the unsettling and famously creepy Backrooms setting. You're exploring these endless liminal spaces all by yourself which creates a constant feeling of unease and mystery. There’s no combat or traditional gameplay mechanics here instead it’s all about wandering through bizarre environments finding clues and trying to piece together the strange story of what happened in this place. The pixel art style is simple but incredibly effective at building atmosphere and the 3D perspective really makes you feel lost and alone. It’s not a game that will jump out and scare you with sudden noises but rather it builds a persistent sense of dread and wonder as you uncover the secrets hidden within these strange corridors. If you enjoy games that focus on atmosphere and exploration and aren't afraid of a little psychological creepiness you'll probably find this one quite captivating.
