Games Like Axion

Axion is a really interesting indie title from 2015 that blends action and RPG elements into a unique package. You step into the boots of a character navigating a somewhat mysterious world with a focus on first person shooting. It's not a super sprawling open world but it offers exploration and combat encounters. What sets Axion apart is its atmospheric presentation and the sense of survival that permeates the gameplay. You’ll be facing off against various enemies and likely scavenging for resources.
