Games Like Awagi

Awagi is a really cool 2D shooter that feels like a blend of classic arcade action and a touch of Breakout. You control a little character who has to destroy waves of enemies by bouncing projectiles off a paddle at the bottom of the screen. It's super simple to pick up but gets surprisingly challenging as you progress. The pixel art style is charming and the gameplay loop is incredibly addictive. It's a short game perfect for a quick burst of fun or a longer session if you're really getting into it. The game has a unique feel thanks to its blend of genres and the satisfying way you clear the screen of enemies. It’s a solid little experience that scratches that retro shooter itch.
