Games Like Avoid (itch) (RipTide Studio)

Avoid (itch) is a really clever little strategy game where you’re tasked with guiding a small group of people through a dangerous, ever shifting world. You don’t directly control your characters instead you strategically place obstacles and traps to redirect enemies and hopefully keep your team safe. It's surprisingly engaging to figure out the best way to navigate each level using limited resources. The game has a distinct visual style that feels both simple and effective and the constant threat of being overwhelmed keeps things tense. It’s not about brute force it's about smart planning and anticipating enemy movements. It’s the kind of game you can pick up for a quick burst of strategic thinking or sink into for a more involved challenge. If you enjoy games that make you think creatively about problem solving then Avoid is definitely worth checking out.
