Games Like Automic Creator

Automic Creator is a wonderfully weird and open world sandbox game where you get to be a god. Seriously you design entire ecosystems populate them with strange creatures and watch them evolve. It’s incredibly freeing to just experiment with different blocks and see what happens. You can create everything from simple plants and animals to complex machines and entire landscapes. The game doesn't really handhold you it just gives you the tools and lets your imagination run wild. There's no specific goal you have to achieve it's all about the joy of creation and observing the emergent behavior of your worlds. It’s a surprisingly relaxing experience even though you’re essentially in control of a universe. If you enjoy games like Minecraft but with a much more focused emphasis on creation and experimentation this is definitely worth checking out.
