Games Like Automatonics

Automatonics is a really cool 2D action platformer where you build robots to fight. You start with basic parts and then assemble them into all sorts of unique machines. The gameplay loop is super satisfying you explore levels collecting resources and then use those resources to design and upgrade your automatons. Each robot has different abilities so you have to think strategically about what parts to use for different challenges. It’s got a hand-drawn art style that’s really charming and the combat is fast paced and engaging. The game offers a good blend of exploration and customization making each run feel fresh and rewarding. It’s not overly complicated to pick up but there's definitely depth to master the robot building system. If you like games where you get to tinker and experiment while battling enemies this one is definitely worth checking out.
