Games Like Attack the Hive

Attack the Hive is a really fun 2D action platformer that feels right at home with the classic Metroidvania style. You play as a little hero venturing into a sprawling hive filled with all sorts of creepy crawlies. The gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying. You'll be exploring interconnected areas, discovering new abilities that let you reach previously inaccessible places. Combat is fast paced and requires precise timing. It’s not overly punishing but definitely demands you learn enemy patterns. The pixel art is gorgeous and really brings the insect world to life. There’s a real sense of progression as you unlock new moves and powerups. It’s a game that rewards exploration and skillful play, and I found myself constantly wanting to see what was around the next corner. If you enjoy games like Hollow Knight or Castlevania but are looking for something a little more focused and bite sized, Attack the Hive is worth checking out.
