Games Like Attack on Pearl Harbor

Attack on Pearl Harbor puts you in the cockpit of a World War II fighter plane during one of the most infamous attacks in history. You fly as a U S Navy pilot scrambling to defend the fleet at anchor in Hawaii on December 7th 1941. The game mixes arcade-style action with a light simulation feel so you feel the tension of dodging enemy fire while trying to take down Japanese bombers and fighters. The controls are straightforward but responsive and the missions are short enough to play in bursts. You get a real sense of what it must have felt like to be in that moment in history, flying through smoke and chaos, trying to survive. The graphics are solid for the time and the sound design really pulls you into the battle with realistic engine roars and explosions. It’s not deep in terms of strategy or long-term progression but it delivers a strong dose of wartime adrenaline in a short package.
