Games Like Atrophy: Space Legacy

Atrophy Space Legacy is a really interesting little action shooter that came out in 2018 as part of Ludum Dare 43. It’s a 3D game set in space where you play as a lone pilot trying to survive against overwhelming odds. The gameplay is pretty straightforward you’re constantly dodging enemy fire and trying to find ways to take them down. What makes it stand out is the very distinct and somewhat unsettling art style. It feels a little retro but with a unique visual flair. It’s not a super long game but it offers a focused and intense experience. If you enjoy fast paced shooting and don't mind a somewhat challenging experience this could be a fun one to check out especially if you like games with a strong visual identity.
