Games Like ATLANTIC RIM

ATLANTIC RIM is a really cool action game where you team up with a friend for some chaotic mecha battles. It’s got a distinct 3D style that feels a bit retro but still looks great. The core gameplay revolves around controlling these powerful robots and taking on waves of enemies. What makes it stand out is the local co-op aspect it’s genuinely fun to play with someone else in the same room strategizing and coordinating your attacks. It’s got a lighthearted feel despite the robot combat and the Ludum Dare origin shows a creative spark. You’ll be dodging attacks, unleashing special moves, and generally having a blast as you try to survive. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to pick up but offers surprising depth in how you can approach each encounter.
