Games Like Athanatos

Athanatos is a really clever puzzle game where you control a tiny robot navigating intricate levels. The core mechanic is manipulating the environment using explosions. You don't directly control movement much instead you strategically detonate objects to create pathways, clear obstacles, and reach the goal. It’s a surprisingly relaxing experience despite the explosive nature of the gameplay. The top-down perspective gives you a good overview of the level and the satisfying chain reactions you create are really rewarding. It’s a game that encourages experimentation and thinking outside the box. It might seem simple at first but the puzzles gradually increase in complexity offering a good challenge without feeling frustrating. If you enjoy games that make you think and appreciate a clean minimalist aesthetic Athanatos is definitely worth checking out.
