ASTRO:BELT is a really cool game that throws you into a chaotic world of asteroids and dodging. You control a spaceship and your main goal is to survive waves of incoming projectiles. It’s surprisingly addictive because the gameplay is simple to pick up but gets challenging fast. You’ll be constantly maneuvering, trying to avoid getting hit while collecting powerups to help you out. There are different ship types to unlock each with unique abilities which adds a nice layer of progression. It’s a great game for those moments when you want something fast paced and engaging that you can jump into for a short burst or a longer session. The retro pixel art style is charming and the constant action keeps things exciting. It’s not a game that requires a ton of thought just pure reaction skill which makes it a blast.
