Games Like Astral View

Astral View is a really neat little puzzle game that just popped into existence during a game jam in 2019. It’s a 2D experience with a charming pixel art style where you navigate intricate levels. The core idea is that you’re manipulating astral energy to solve puzzles. You don't have direct control over your character; instead, you’re guiding them by strategically placing energy fields. It’s incredibly satisfying when you finally figure out the sequence to unlock the next area. The game is all about thoughtful planning and spatial reasoning. It’s not overly challenging but offers a genuinely engaging experience that’s perfect for when you want something calming yet mentally stimulating. It's the kind of game you can pick up and put down easily but also get lost in for a while as you explore its levels and uncover their secrets.
