Games Like Asteroid Annihilator (SadStudios)

Asteroid Annihilator is a really fun 2D shooter that throws you right into the action. You control a ship tasked with blasting away hordes of aliens and defending against waves of asteroids. It's got a simple but addictive gameplay loop where you're constantly dodging projectiles and unleashing powerful attacks. The retro pixel art style is charming and the fast paced combat keeps things exciting. It feels like a classic arcade game with a modern polish and the Ludum Dare 50 background suggests a lot of creative energy went into it. It's the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick burst of fun or lose yourself in for a longer session trying to achieve a high score. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something straightforward and engaging.
