Games Like Apex Racing (itch)

Apex Racing is a really cool 2D racing game that takes a unique approach. Instead of real-time action, you control your racer through turn-based decisions. You plan your moves carefully anticipating your opponent's actions which adds a layer of strategy you don't often find in racing games. The vector graphics give it a clean and stylish look and the game feels polished despite being made with Godot. It’s not about twitch reflexes but more about thoughtful planning and predicting the track. You'll be navigating various courses trying to outsmart your rivals and achieve the fastest lap times. It’s a relaxing yet engaging experience perfect for when you want something different from the usual high-speed racing. The turn-based system offers a refreshing change of pace and encourages a more cerebral approach to the genre.
