Games Like APB (2010)

APB (2010) throws you into a gritty urban warzone where you play as a cop or criminal in a massive open world that never sleeps. The game runs on a live server system meaning every moment you spend in the city is happening in real time with thousands of other players. You can go full cop and try to clean up the streets by chasing down criminals and arresting them or go rogue and take on the role of a criminal running heists and stealing from the city. The combat is fast and brutal with simple controls that let you focus on the chaos of the moment. The world feels alive because you never know who you might run into or what kind of wild situation could pop up. It’s not perfect and some parts feel rough around the edges but there’s a raw energy to it that keeps you coming back for more.
