Games Like AntWars (MatHeadGames)

AntWars is a really clever strategy game where you control an army of ants. You don't directly control individual ants though. Instead you design and build their colony and then strategically direct them to fight other ant colonies. It's surprisingly deep. You're constantly thinking about resource management, troop composition, and battlefield tactics. The game has a charming visual style and a really engaging progression system. You unlock new ant types and upgrades which allows for a ton of customization and different approaches to warfare. It’s a game that rewards planning and adaptation. You’ll find yourself experimenting with different strategies and watching your ant armies clash in surprisingly epic battles. It’s a unique blend of simulation and strategy that’s easy to pick up but offers a lot of depth for those who want to master it.
