Antichroma is a really clever little platformer that you can jump into right in your web browser. The core mechanic is all about manipulating light and shadow to navigate levels and defeat enemies. You control a small entity that can switch between being visible or invisible. This isn't just a simple hide and seek situation though. You use your visibility to attack enemies that are vulnerable to light or to avoid those that thrive in darkness. The levels are beautifully designed with a striking visual style and the gameplay loop of switching states and strategically moving through the environment is incredibly satisfying. It’s a game that’s easy to pick up but offers a surprising amount of depth as you figure out the best ways to utilize your abilities. It’s a short experience but one that sticks with you because of its unique and elegant design.
