Games Like ANSI Shinobi

ANSI Shinobi is a really cool little platformer that feels like a throwback to the early days of gaming. It’s presented in a charming 8-bit style using ASCII characters which is pretty neat. You play as a ninja on a mission to rescue someone. The gameplay is straightforward you run jump and fight enemies using classic ninja moves. What makes it stand out is the deliberate retro aesthetic and the way it captures the feeling of old DOS or Commodore 64 games. It’s not super long but it’s a satisfying experience for anyone who appreciates a bit of nostalgia and a fun challenging platforming adventure. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a short burst or spend a little more time mastering its levels.
