Games Like Animus (itch) (NotxDs)

Animus is a really cool little adventure platformer that just dropped in 2022. It’s a short experience but packs a punch with its incredibly atmospheric world. You play as someone exploring a mysterious environment filled with strange technology and a sense of melancholy. The gameplay focuses on navigating 2D levels, solving simple puzzles, and uncovering bits of a narrative through environmental storytelling. It’s not a game that will challenge your reflexes but it will definitely make you think and feel something. The art style is simple yet effective, perfectly complementing the game’s somber tone. If you’re looking for something you can finish in an afternoon that leaves a lasting impression, Animus is definitely worth checking out. It’s a great example of how a small team can create a genuinely memorable experience.
