Angry Santa is a really fun 2D action shooter that throws you into a chaotic Christmas adventure. You play as a very disgruntled Santa Claus who is understandably upset about some evil grinches messing with his holiday preparations. The gameplay is straightforward and satisfying. You’ll be blasting your way through levels filled with mischievous enemies using a variety of weapons. It’s got that classic 16 bit feel which is nostalgic and charming. The levels are varied and the boss fights are pretty intense. It’s not a super deep story but it’s a great game if you’re looking for some straightforward shooting action with a humorous twist. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick burst of fun or sink a bit more time into to really clear out all the grinches.
