Games Like Andromeda

Andromeda is a really interesting little indie game that takes you on a journey through space. It's a 2D retro style adventure where you pilot a spaceship and blast through hordes of enemies. The gameplay is quite straightforward focusing on on rails shooting meaning you don't have to worry about complex movement but instead concentrate on aiming and dodging. It’s easy to pick up and play perfect for a casual gaming session but it offers a surprising amount of replayability with different weapons and upgrades to unlock. The retro aesthetic gives it a charming feel and the simple linear structure makes it a relaxing experience. If you enjoy classic arcade shooters with a modern twist and don't mind a bit of a guided experience, Andromeda is definitely worth checking out.
