Games Like Ampersand

Ampersand is a quirky little racing game that feels like it was made by someone who loved old-school arcade racers but wanted to add a dash of weird magic. You control a car that looks like it was drawn by a kid with a crayon and a dream. The tracks twist through surreal landscapes—floating islands, upside-down cities, and neon forests lit by glowing trees. The gameplay is simple but twitchy, with sharp turns and sudden boosts that make you feel like you're sliding on a dream. There’s no long story or deep mechanics just pure speed and style. You race through levels that change in mood and look with every lap, and the soundtrack hits that perfect mix of upbeat synth and nostalgic electronic beats. It’s not about winning every race it’s about the joy of zipping through weird worlds with no rules and a smile on your face.
