Games Like Always Mowing

Always Mowing is a really unique little game that throws you into a top down action experience. You control a character tasked with mowing lawns but it's not quite as straightforward as it sounds. The game is a fast paced score attack where you need to efficiently cut all the grass before time runs out. It’s simple to pick up but mastering the timing and navigating the levels to maximize your score is where the fun lies. The game has a distinct retro feel thanks to its 16 bit aesthetic and its origins as a Ludum Dare jam game. It's a quick burst of frantic gameplay perfect for when you have a few minutes to kill or if you're looking for a game that’s easy to jump into and instantly engaging. It’s a testament to how much fun can be found in a simple core mechanic executed well.
