Games Like Alveoli Defense

Alveoli Defense is a really interesting little game that started as a Game Jam project in 2020. It’s a 2D top-down experience that takes on a surprisingly unique premise. You’re essentially defending alveoli which are those tiny air sacs in your lungs. The game blends elements of various genres so it’s hard to pin down exactly what it is. You’ll be managing resources and strategically positioning defenses against waves of… well, let’s just say things that aren’t good for your lungs. It’s got a quirky sense of humor and a surprisingly engaging gameplay loop. While the theme is tied to the COVID-19 pandemic it’s handled in a lighthearted way. It’s a short game perfect for a quick play session but with enough depth to keep you engaged. If you’re looking for something different and don’t mind a bit of an unusual concept Alveoli Defense is definitely worth checking out.
