Alterworld is a really interesting game that throws you into a vast open world. It feels like a sandbox where you can just wander and explore whatever catches your eye. You're a lone adventurer in a strange new place and the focus is on discovery and survival. There isn't a strict storyline pushing you along so you set your own goals. You can gather resources craft items and figure out the mysteries of this world at your own pace. It's got a first-person perspective which really helps you feel immersed. Since it's still in early access expect things to evolve but the core feeling of freedom and exploration is definitely there.
