Games Like Alter Ego (1986)

Alter Ego from 1986 is a really interesting old-school RPG. You step into the shoes of a character who can transform into different creatures. The core gameplay revolves around exploring a world filled with monsters and solving puzzles using your shapeshifting abilities. It’s a bit different from the RPGs you might play today, focusing more on tactical thinking and figuring out how to use each form effectively to overcome obstacles and enemies. The game isn't about flashy graphics; it's about the satisfaction of clever problem solving and the unique feeling of being able to adapt to any situation. It’s a challenging but rewarding experience for those who enjoy a bit of retro gaming charm and a focus on gameplay over presentation. If you like games that make you think creatively, Alter Ego is worth checking out.
