Games Like Alt EGO

Alt EGO is a really intriguing puzzle game that puts you in a first person perspective exploring surreal and often unsettling environments. You play as a character who can shift between different versions of themselves each with unique abilities. The core gameplay revolves around using these shifts to solve intricate environmental puzzles. It’s not about fast reflexes or intense action it’s more about careful observation and figuring out how each of your alternate selves interacts with the world. The atmosphere is thick with a sense of mystery and there’s a definite horror element but it’s more psychological than jump scare driven. It's a game that encourages you to think outside the box and experiment which makes for a surprisingly rewarding experience. If you enjoy games that challenge your mind and have a strong focus on atmosphere and unique mechanics Alt EGO is definitely worth checking out.
