Alien Invasion is a really interesting little shooter game created for an itch.io jam back in 2016. You find yourself defending Earth from waves of incoming aliens. The gameplay is straightforward and addictive. You build up defenses like towers to stop the alien hordes from reaching your core. It's a simple concept but it’s surprisingly engaging. The game has a retro feel with its pixel art style which adds to its charm. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick burst of fun or get surprisingly absorbed in for a longer session. It’s not trying to be overly complex just a solid tower defense experience with a unique alien aesthetic.
