Games Like Aimmo

Aimmo is a really interesting little shooter that popped up in the Ludum Dare 40 game jam back in 2017. It's a web game so you can jump right in without needing to download anything. The core idea is you control a character in a simple 2D world and you're constantly shooting at waves of enemies. What makes it stand out is how fast and frantic it is. The gameplay loop is super addictive. You're dodging projectiles, aiming carefully, and trying to survive as long as possible. It's not about complex stories or deep mechanics it’s pure arcade action. The visuals are clean and functional perfectly fitting the game jam aesthetic. It’s a quick burst of adrenaline that's easy to pick up and play whenever you have a few minutes to kill. If you enjoy those kinds of simple but engaging shooters, Aimmo is definitely worth checking out.
