Games Like Agent in the Night

Agent in the Night is a really charming little 2D platformer that feels like a throwback to the golden age of gaming. You play as a shadowy figure navigating a retro inspired world filled with puzzles and enemies. It’s a simple game to pick up but has a surprising amount of depth as you explore each level looking for secrets and figuring out how to overcome obstacles. The whole aesthetic is wonderfully 8 bit and it’s clear this was a passion project created for a game jam. It's a short but sweet experience perfect for when you want something lighthearted and nostalgic. The gameplay is straightforward focusing on jumping and avoiding threats. It’s not going to break any new ground but it’s a genuinely enjoyable and well made little game that scratches that retro itch.
