Games Like Aftermath (itch) (Akatsyki)

Aftermath is a really interesting indie RPG that throws you into a world shaped by a cataclysmic event. You’re navigating the ruins and trying to figure out what happened and what role you’ll play in the aftermath. It feels less about grand battles and more about exploration and making tough choices. The game emphasizes player agency which means your decisions genuinely impact the story and the world around you. You’ll encounter various characters and factions each with their own agendas and you’ll have to decide who to trust and how to proceed. It’s a thoughtful experience that prioritizes atmosphere and narrative over fast-paced action. If you enjoy games where your choices matter and you like uncovering a mysterious world piece by piece, Aftermath is definitely worth checking out. It's a game that sticks with you long after you finish playing.
