Games Like After Us

After Us is a really interesting game that blends medieval fantasy with a somewhat post-apocalyptic setting. You control a young girl named Lyra who is on a quest to find her missing brother. The gameplay is heavily inspired by games like Fire Emblem with its strategic turn based combat on a world map. You explore this world, completing quests, battling enemies, and uncovering the story behind a mysterious cataclysm. What makes it stand out is the beautiful art style which feels almost hand drawn and the engaging narrative that slowly unfolds as you progress. It's not a super long game but the journey is really captivating and the combat system has some satisfying depth. If you enjoy tactical battles and a story driven experience with a unique visual flair, After Us is definitely worth checking out.
