Games Like Afloat

Afloat is a really unique game where you're stranded on a small patch of land in the middle of a vast ocean. The core of the experience is about survival and building. You start with nothing and need to gather resources like wood and stone to construct everything from basic shelters to more complex structures. It’s a peaceful kind of survival though. There's no constant threat of monsters or enemies. Instead, the challenge comes from managing your resources, adapting to the weather, and figuring out how to thrive in isolation. You can explore the surrounding waters, discover new islands, and even craft tools and equipment to aid your journey. The game has a really calming atmosphere, and it’s satisfying to watch your little island grow from a simple outpost into a self-sufficient haven. It’s a great game if you enjoy the feeling of creative problem solving and the slow steady progress of building something from scratch.
