Games Like Adaptation (trelans, basakcontu)

Adaptation is a really clever little action game that feels like a love letter to old school 2D platformers. You control a character who can morph into different creatures each with unique abilities. The core loop is about exploring levels solving puzzles and battling enemies using these transformations. What makes it stand out is the humor it injects into everything. The pixel art is charming and the animations are surprisingly fluid for a retro style game. It's not overly challenging but offers enough interesting mechanics to keep things engaging. If you enjoy games that are easy to pick up but have a surprising amount of depth and a good dose of laughs then Adaptation is definitely worth checking out. It’s a refreshing take on the action genre and a blast to play.
