ACE is a really interesting shooter from 2015 that takes you back to the 1980s with a unique twist. You're controlling Alpha Boy a character ripped straight from an 80s movie. The gameplay is presented on a grid which feels very retro and almost like a strategy game blended with a shooter. What makes ACE stand out is the constant stream of movie quotes that pop up during your missions. It’s a quirky experience where you’re navigating levels, blasting enemies, and listening to all these familiar lines. The game isn't about deep complex stories but more about the fun of the action and the nostalgic vibe it creates. If you appreciate retro aesthetics and enjoy a shooter with a humorous and unconventional presentation, ACE is definitely worth checking out. It's a short experience but a memorable one.
